For our retreat attendees who arrive on Saturday morning, we will conduct the retreat and begin our optional activities soon after dinner. The Living Rosary helps educate our scouts through both words, lights and actions as they become closer to their faith.
Our Saturday night attendees may enjoy the stars you don't always see because of city lights. Sunday morning brings breakfast, a hike, and optional programs. See the following description for a few of our programs we intend to offer ...
| Living Rosary | Cubs will conduct a living rosary on Saturday night that will teach them about the rosary as well as provide a breathtaking light ceremony and a lasting memory. |
|---|---|
| Faith Craft | Cubs will be able to make a craft related to the theme to take home as a memento. |
| Astronomy | Enjoy the stars you don't always see because of city lights - you may want to bring binoculars or a telescope. |
| Saturday Evening Mass | You can celebrate Mass with your fellow Cub Scouts and fulfill your obligation under the Texas sky. |
| Cub Scout Outdoor Award Activity | Complete several of the activities for the award during the retreat and the optional programs. |
