Cub Scout Emblems

Overview

The Cub Scout emblems are earned in a family setting with the Cub and parents or guardians. It takes an average 90 to 180 days to complete each program. Cub awards may be started anytime. When completed there is a choice of manner of presentation; locally or at the annual awards ceremony held in late April or May. See our calendar for date, time and location of the awards ceremony. Some parishes or Packs have a Religious Emblems Coordinator. Check with your parish or pack as this person can be of major assistance to you.

In addition to the medal, scouts earning any of these emblems are entitled to wear the youth religious knot with program device on their uniform.
