The Fort Worth Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting and Dallas Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting are proud to be the sponsors for the 2012 National Catholic Committee on Scouting Biennial Meeting in Irving, TX April 19-22!  With this great opportunity, both Diocesan committees need to provide volunteers to help with all the events and activities during the 4 days of the Biennial meeting.  Please take a few minutes to read over the volunteer responsibilities needed and a schedule with date, time and volunteers needed.  I know each and every one of you will do your very best in supporting this event and showing the success of Catholic Scouting in our Diocese.  Please email all volunteer information to Steve Zerbe at This email address is being protected from spambots. Diocese of Fort Worth Welcome to the Ft. Worth Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting (FWDCCS) website. Catholic Scouting is a unique, but integral youth ministry of the Catholic Church!

The FWDCCS provides Cub and Boy Scouts and their Adult Leaders spiritual enrichment in the Catholic Faith with religious education through Religious Emblems Programs, Catholic Scout Retreats, and a Scouter Development program. The religious emblem programs offer age- and grade-specific instruction that reinforce the religious education taught within the parish, have been developed at a national level, and are approved by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. Religious Emblems are presented to scouts by Bishop Vann annually.
